Groom Dana Hanna whipped out his phone during his wedding to change his Facebook status to 'married' at the alter. This retro wedding invite, from Chilean computer scientists Luiz Diaz Santis and Magaly Guerrero Ramirez, mixed freehand drawing and Photoshop to create a cute throwback to the glorious Atari-fueled '80s. Not even the bubbly Sonia Kruger as the co-skipper along with Shane Webcke could lift it. In its prime-time slot of 7.30pm, it pulled in only 290,000 viewers in Sydney. But don't try telling any of the Seven bigwigs that it sucks. A year ago, they were involved in a trade-deadline deal that sent one of them to Detroit, the other to Seattle – and Friday night they said hello to one another. Jarrod Washburn, living in retirement on his Wisconsin deer farm, visited the Mariners' clubhouse and sat in on a pitchers meeting, where the man he was traded for, Luke French, was sitting. "I asked him if he was ready to pitch because he looked great, but he said he didn't know where his glove was," manager Don Wakamatsu said.
